Well, we are quite snowed in today and I had a plan for a different shot, but I doubt I will be able to do it. So I thought I would take a shot of our dog playing out in the snow. He is half schnauzer, half poodle (i.e., a schnoodle) hence the title. Motion as a topic is quite a stretch for me. I still may be able to try the other shot, but if not this will have to do. Comments and criticism are most welcome.
Steve - What a cute dog! Looks like he was having fun! A great capture of motion and of the dogs emotions! It can be very difficult capturing a dark dog in the white snow. Nice entry.
Looks like someone had a lot of fun in the snow. Not sure if it was you or the dog. It depicts a great sense of enthusiasm and playfulness. Good luck.
Karen
Hi Karen,
Thanks for your kind words. I am glad you could pick up on the playfulness, I thought there was enough details in the blurred motion to convey this, so your comments certainly made me feel better about the image.

Hi Jamie,
Thanks for your very kind words. Yes, shooting him in the white snow as a bit of a challenge, but I picked up a tip about shooting in snow from the landscape board (plus 2/3 exposure compensation) that really helps.
Hi Steve! Wonderful job with the color contrast, and capture. You kept the details on both, and that's quite a feat. I just LOVE your Schnoodle!! If I ever have another dog I'd love one like yours.

Super job!
Hi Philly,
I can always count of you for kind and thoughtful comments. Our dog, Jake, is clearly primarily my wife's dog, but I like him too.

I never seen a Schnoodle Zoom before.... Thanks and Great shot!
Hi Bryan,
Thanks for the kind words. I wish I could take credit for the term Schnoodle zoom, but I stole it from several dog care books that described the activity of this type of dog with the term. I have always liked it and thought it would make a good title.
