I haven't been posting at FM much as of late. Just too busy with life which means two very active boys and a great wife. I'm blessed.
My best shot from 2007 is this one - NOT taken with any expensive gear. Just what I had on me at the time. Back country remote photography is like that at times. Anyway, here it is. This gal, an Alaskan resident, was personal use dipnetting in the China Poot red salmon fishery in Kachemak Bay out of Homer. I didn't take many shots of this as I was fishing myself, but everything came together with a Kodak point-and-shoot for this one.
I'm not so good at critique, but since I posted, I'll give it a go. For most of the thread, keithmills37 was my favorite shot. I loved the dim lighting and the little girl's expression.
But then Dooglla posted, and I ended up picking his second shot, so sorry Keith, that bumped you to second for me. I love the framing around her face by her hands, the perfect exposure and the contrast.

Thats ok David...thank you very much for even puttting me second. There are soooo many awesome photos that I haven't even been able to pick my favorite yet....My little girl and I feel honored to have been mentioned : )
