Do you leave it on when u take photos? or take them semi off or slide it on top of your camera?
I just got glasses a month ago and am wondering how you guys do it with them in front of ur eyes. It really get in the way when u have to look thru that viewfinder...
After wearing contacts for nearly 20 years, age has caught up with me and I now wear bifocals. I leave them on when shooting, but it can be a real PITA. Just need to make sure that the diopter setting on the camera is set properly. FWIW...I was recently fitted with monovision contacts (one eye distance, the other eye close-up). I had my shooting eye set for distance, but have yet to try them out on a shoot. That's next, I guess.
I always wear my glasses while I'm shooting... It is nice having my glasses on when I'm shooting sports with my eyes open and I'm trying to follow the action with my left eye..
With some cameras it can be a problem (my old FM2n for example) but with most cameras I can see the full frame even with my glasses on.
I can adjust the camera diopter so I can see well thru the viewfinder without glasses, bu then I can't read the camera controls or the LCD (histogram). So I bought a cheap pair of drugstore glasses and a neck strap. I shoot with the glasses off, and pop them on when I need to read the controls.
I also shoot with my glasses on. Every 30 mins or so of heavy shooting i clean the smudge mark the camera makes on them. I love the bigger viewfinder of the d2h as compared to the d50 because it makes a big difference to me as a glasses wearer.
I have worn glasses my whole life and have shot with them on for over 40 years. Other than ocassionally cleaning a smudge off of them I never notice them. Of course if I did not wear them I might not be able to find my camera.
I have worn glasses my whole life (since I was 5) and have shot with them on ever since I used a camera (about 3-4 years). Being so young and having such a bad astigmatism there is really no options for me except glasses.
The smudging isn't really too bad at all. The most annoying thing for me is the smaller view finder. Even on a 1.3 crop body and full frame bodies, I still can't see the entire frame. Annoying, but I've gotten used to it.
