Heya...this seems the best place to put this, as I cannot find any support/e-mail link on about/support etc., and it would clog the B-S forum with discussion.
I have sold some (to me) expensive items lately, and like many photogs, am climbing the ladder to bigger-more-expensive gear. A big part of that is my rep here on FM, where I buy/sell almost all my gear.
I just have had a couple of people try to rate me, to find out that since they didn't buy a membership on B-S, they can't post to Pos-and-Neutral.
Also: on the support page, it mentions donations, and the two other memberships, but, not the new Buy-Sell membership ("Sell" really).
Not complaining, just wishing...keep up the good work.
My understanding is that a non-subscriber can not start a new thread in B/S but they are able to reply to an existing thread, which is all that they need to do in order to leave their feedback. My guess is that they are trying to leave their feedback incorrectly by attempting to start a new thread rather than replying to the existing one. This seems to be a common mistake. As a side note, I find that a lot of people just don't leave feedback. I have an extensive history of buying & selling but I bet half of the transactions were not documented.
