I know you have gone back and forth about using the whole eye or not. I like the whole eye shot but would like to see a little more of the top part of the lid. It just seems cut off to me without seeing the top of the eye lash in the center. Ok, with that said the shot is great. It pulls you in to look closer. Very well done. Good Luck.

What a fascinating and well-executed shot! Papparazzi dream-tool -amy
Amy,
All you would need is a bluetooth connection to your phone and off those shots would go.
Thanks for your kind words
Mark

I think you may be right. Although i ve used photoshop for a while i have only just got a digital camera. My workflow( i believe this is the buzz word) is dreadful. I take a picture and work on it, rarely saving along the way. This is something i need to work on. So im afraid the crop will have to stay. Sorry Thankyou for looking and take care

I didn't see any other image, but this one is fantastic. Incredible detail, beautiful color and it looks centered and straight on. Wow! Nice work!

Now you've got it just right. This is an awesome concept and great shot. I've tried taking a photo of my eye, it's a real bitch.
Later,
Chad
Thankyou Chad
My wife wanted to take a picture of me taking a picture of my eye as she said i was obsessed !
My Method was to sit in a chair. Beside chair was a step ladder. At eye height a spirit level was attached poking out over the chair. Macro focus was on end of spirit level above chair. I then sat in chair, spirit level at eye height and to bridge of nose. Remotely triggered shutter. Adjusted focus and reshot.
So if anyone wants to do this i know this will work.
Take care and thankyou for taking the time to look.
