p.1 #1 · Which monitor/printer calibration device?
SO I use to use the spyder 2 then it broke so I got a nice deal on the huey pro. Both were good, I liked them both. But then tonight, some jerk stole my huey from my bag while I was giving a demonstration at the Apple store. Yea nice, guess he needed the device more than me.
SO my question is, what do you use? I need to buy something since now I am out of a device again.
I was looking at the Spyder 3, but is it really that much better than the 2?

A second vote for the Eye-One Photo. I bought one a year ago, and am very pleased with the results I'm getting. I also use it as a densitometer in my consulting business.
p.1 #5 · Which monitor/printer calibration device?
I never looked at the eye one, but maybe it is time to give that a try. I liked the others but just wasnt completely satisfied. So you like the eye one? Ever use anything else to compare it to?
Just wondering how it stands up next to the huey and spyder.

A third vote for Eye - One Photo. I had a spyder way back, but couldn't really good good results from it, but then my monitor was pretty much shot at the time.

I'm interested in someone who can explain the differences between the Eye - One (i1 One) Photo, Photo UV, Photo SG and Photo SG UV.
I get that the UV piece has a physical modification to the i1 unit to counter brighteners in the paper; but I'm not sure which way I want to go w/ that.
And what about the Photo SG option? Profiles for the camera? Hrm... something I need to worry about? I'm shooting w/ 3 camera bodies, but haven't worried about it so far.
