Some people have asked me for a sample RAW file of a person, so here's a DNG file you can look at. Note, because it is RAW you will need to adjust white balance correctly yourself. I'm not including the test shot with the grey card. This image is only to be used for evaluation purposes and may not be reproduced.

Raw Developer on the Mac is a very good converter as well. Thats what I used to open it with. Since its DNG though, I would think CS2 should work fine.

Graham:
It looks better than any Canon or Nikon file that I have seen.
Does the eMotion have a sensitivity to IR? In the DNG it looked like her black blouse has some IR problems in it. Your dedicated Sinar software may just correct for this in the profile.

Excellent file. The eyes, forehead, hair, under nose skin texture is awesome, but what really pops out is the lips and teeth. Now that's detail. ISO 25 looks sweet.
I had to turn the standard sharpening settings that I use down in Lightroom for this file because of the sharpness, compared to the appropriate settings for my Canon files.

It's probably a black top. When I pulled up the image in ACR (not the latest version) I got the same magenta cast as robsteve, and could minimize it but could not get rid of it.
Definitely an impressive file, though, and even better when processed properly.

Disregard the colour issue, because the DNG route is not my normal workflow and I probably don't have it set up properly. My preview JPEG is using my normal workflow and the black shirt is black as you can see.

Graham:
You may have done this previously and I missed it but can you post a landscape shot? Something with tree leaves in the background. It's OK also, though not required, if there's a cute model in the foreground :-). You've posted lots of shots like this but only web jpg's ... I don't remember a raw. No big hurry ... just when you can.

IMPORTANT
After some feedback on this DNG file and especially some colour and highlight issues, I have to say that I have never used the DNG conversion before and it is not part of my ordinary workflow. Therefore the DNG file is only useful as a measure of the file's resolution and detail.
I chose the DNG format to try to be helpful but it only opened a can of worms.
So.. here is an 8 bit TIFF (16 bit was too large) of the same file exported as a TIFF from Captureshop with basic curves applied in Photoshop.
No colour correction applied, and the shirt is black as you can see. Some of the colour fringing is much better too.
