Hi Andrew,
Swimming seems definitely out of place. You have done a nice job of capturing this scene. The snow on the spruce and cedars makes it clear how cold it is. Good luck this week.

Thanks Steve. The idea came to me on Friday night as it was snowing... and cold it was!

What a cool idea! (Pun intended. ) Now get back inside before you catch your death of cold!!! (Sorry, the mother in me kicked in when I saw this image.)
First of all, you're so lucky to have snow!! Great concept, and execution. I think the snorkel is a bit distracting, however. The angle makes it seem as though you have something growing out of your head. (Clone out?) It's a minor contribution to your concept, anyway. Just my 2 cents.
I see your point however I'm not about to go out and reshoot this one

Wimp! Why werent you out in bare feet? Great execution and concept.
I am a wimp! Thanks hhski, I did consider taking the shoes off, or at least burying my feet in the snow, however my wife pressing the shutter button demanded she spend no more than 20 seconds outside (in her parka no less).

Great idea, I'm so jealous, it never snows here anymore!
Be careful what you're jealous for. It gets old quick... shovelling driveway, wiping snow off of the car, tracking in cold wet water into your house, having to load up with jackets and gloves, gloomy gray skies all the time...
... but I do occasionally enjoy the snow

Great shot Andrew,
Quite funny, it doesn't really look like a good day for the beach, your plans are out certainly of place. I really like the snorkel and swim mask, it's a nice touch

Thanks Nick, I was going for maximum effect with the props. I thought about standing in the front yard with the fins on, but then I'd have to deal with the funny looks from the neighbors

Amusing shot and very brave of you. Hope you didn't have to do too many retakes out there.
Fortunately I was only outside for ~1 minute, I actually didn't get that cold. The wind wasn't blowing at the moment which helped tremendously.
