Hi Marc,

This is a great take on the WA. She certainly seems out of place in this image. I would like to see more detail in the black, however. Still a very interesting idea and well crafted shot. Good luck this week,

Thanks for the comments guys, as for the details in the black, I totally agree but if I did, you'd see that my umbrella is broken on the bottom haha.

Hi Marc! I really love this image. It's got a lot of drama, mood, and mystery...and I love your use of minimal color. I think it's just super!

Marc, I see exactly what you had in mind with this shot and why you shot it. Excellent! The comp is giving me a wonderful sense of surrealism but it feels a bit too real. What do you think?

I think it might feel like that because of how I finished the shot. I found that the trees in the background were too soft and it wasn't setting the right mood for it, so I sharpened the trees until I had the feel I wanted while leaving the rest untouched. So in essence, the composition starts on the real side but finishes unrealistically.

Thank you very much for the prop, you always have such good submissions (yep, even when you have a bad cold!).
