Thanks Steve. Yes it was a frosty morning especially up on the bridge with a bit of a breeze. There were two deer at the pond when I arrived but they wouldn't wait for me to get my camera out.

Thanks Carrol and hhski. I appreciate the compliments. I only wish it could have been 2 or 3 weeks earlier to get more of the fall colours in the surrounding trees.

Nice. I don't like the trees being cut (top) but that's just me. Maybe the lake could be a bit up, to reinforce the BL-TR diagonal, and hide the top trees.

Hi Trent. Thanks for the nice comment on the photo and yes, the ducks on the fairway were chipping up for their "birdie".

Etadam thanks for the suggestions. I couldn't go any lower on the foreground because of many distracting leaf-less tree tops. I'll revisit the original and see if I can get some sky in the shot. The rising sun was just off camera right and it was really blowing out the highlites and I had left my lens hood in the car so got some reflections/flares(?).
