p.1 #1 · Copy protect dvd powerpoint slideshow

Can anyone recommend a good copy protect for dvd powerpoint slideshows? I have converted it to an executable file which will run automatically when inserted in to a dvd drive, but would like to have some form of copy protection. Thanks for any help with this.

Good luck finding one. Sony spent millions to copy protect DVDs and hackers busted the protection with a $1.00 marker.

Your best bet would be to use some sort of watermarks in the photos withthe persons name who is receiving the DVD.

Ah, the old Sharpie defeat... good times..

+1 on the watermark. But that might degrade the presentation of the images.

By the way, what sort of slide shows are these that need the copy protection?

Don't bother copy protecting it. I have never met a disc I couldn't copy, but I have met plenty that I couldn't play until I copied it and removed the protection.
