this is an awesome photo. I love the simplicity. My history professor would describe this photo as a superconductor; it gets the point across in the most effective manner. It allows the viewer to comprehend the beauty in its entirety, without getting side-tracked at all.
Also, excellent choice on the short DOF.

I wasn't sure how the DOF would effect the over all theme, but felt the eye needed to be directed a bit more.
