The question is, should I even TRY to comment on this?? Hmmmmmmmmm... Well, after deep thought and extensive analysis, I think it's safer to take a pass....
Susan:
Okay, just what do you do for a living... making all these trips to my dream destinations? And glad you do, as this is as close as I may ever get to these places. What an amazing series. Well done indeed.

Thanks Shelley! This was my annual vacation with my husband, not work-related at all. Some of the other trips, though, are tag-alongs to work-related stuff (e.g. Alaska - I am a biologist and I consult at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks, so I "have" to go there once a year... )
Hi Susan, what a great trip it must have been. These are all fantastic - perfect exposures, great comps, wonderful expressions and poses. Hope you frame these - what a great wall display they would make.
Susan, nice series. Glad to see how clean the ISO images from the 1DMk3 are. If you don't mind, would you share a bit more about your trip which will always make the pictures more meaningful. Also, I have been gathering information about an African shooting trip in the future.
Awesome images, Susan. You really captured the personality of Guhonda with beautiful detail and clarity. And you've done a truly spectacular job of delivering them to us. Thanks for sharing,
Socrate
