Awesome series Christopher, some really unique shots here, love the HL, and the Kingfisher scrap is a rare occurence to witness yet alone get a great shot of. Vern
These are really super images, Chris. Color, lighting and detail are excellent. Great capture the second shot, and, boy, that Horned Lark sure has an evil look. Great job! Thanks for sharing,
Socrate
Great action in the first two. The first Reddish Egret is art. Absolutely beautiful. I love the blue winged teal too, particularly the first image of him.
What an awesome series. Love the DOF, colors, pose & simplicity of #3, and glad you included the front view too. The kingfishers are super and would love to see the one with beaks locked.
The reddish egret (#5) is very pleasing - the BG colors really compliment the bird. I also really like #8 and #1. Way to go - great shooting.
I haven't heard anything more from Canon yet on the MkIII. How about you?
great shots the blue winged teal and king fishers are awesome (but so is the reddish egret and that horned one that I have never seen before ok they are all awesome.)

Chris -
Nice variety, and all fine shots.
Looks like the Kingfisher pair just shared a great inside joke.
- Ken Hi, Ken. Thanks, it's good to here from you. Gone to SE Washington this weekend, maybe we can hookup for a shoot next Sunday?

I haven't heard anything more from Canon yet on the MkIII. How about you? Hi, Cris. Thank you so much. Haven't heard yet but looks like the end of Nov. which is when I'll be in Bosque. When the MKIII is working correctly it really does a nice job, it is the other small % of the time that is so very frustrating.
