These were taken all over San Diego coastal. The Bluewing teals on the Mexican border, the Reddish Egret and Belted Kingfishers in central San Diego coastal at the San Diego River channel, and the Peregrine on the beach cliffs in northern coastal San Diego. We are fortunate here to have so much to choose from. Thanks for looking and C&C is always welcome.
1of8 Perigrine eating the air. This is the first time I've seen this happen, he must have been very hungry.
Well, this is just a terrific series, Chris! Wow! Definitely a fresh view of things!
# 1 is pretty cool behavior.
The horned lark #3 great shot!
And the blue winged teal is really remarkable--great exposure and lighting on these!

Hi, Bonnie. Thanks so much. Been enjoying your ducks so much, so you inspired me to post these.
Great series Chris! Love those Kingfishers and the Horned Lark, both are fantastic. I also really like 6 and 8. Wonderful color and detail in all of these, super job!

Doug Thanks, Doug. And no matter what JB says, there are some severe focus issues with my MKIII although it could be my lack of a right eye and forefinger on the shutter button hand. Oh, and some other stuff, also.

Looking at pictures like these is the reason I got my first dSLR. Beautiful.
Thank you, Robert. The camera is a great reason to get out and see what's around us and it has opened up a whole new world for me, also.
