I was feeding Sierra today up against our velvet blue blanket and I grabbed the camera to snap a shot of her holding my hand. I figured it would be something for all the old friends to view for an update, but at the same time, it fits well with the theme. Unfortunately, after viewing the thumbnails, I see that I was beaten to it, so I will bow down to another wonderful shot and great idea. Great minds think a like. Either way, I just wanted to post something since its been well over 3 months since I have. Hope I still have some juice left in me.
Awwwwwwwwwww, that's so sweet! And OMG, such sharpness of detail. Nothing wrong with your 'sleep deprived' eyes, my friend. I think both images are different enough to be excellent entries, and I like your colored one, too. Great composition/crop.
Wonderful, Steven. Sweet is THE word, and a good execution. Enjoy that baby every second, and keep reminding yourself how you can nap when she's away at college!

Congrats on the birth of your daughter. It is great that you could share such a wonderful image with us. Enjoy this time when she is young. They grow very fast.
Bev, thanks so much. I have a son that is 7 and I can see how fast that is going. Having a girl is another world and she is letting me have it already, so my hands are fool, but I am so wrapped up with her. I will get my sleep later just like you said.
Nick, I haven't met you before, but I have been checking up on some of the work. Nice to meet you and thanks for the comments
Frank: Same with you, nice to meet you and keep up the good work. Thanks as well for the comment.
Julien, nice to meet you as well. I love you take on the shot. Sorry for posting without looking at the thread. Both of the shots are great and deserve to be looked at. So how old is she/he? Congrats and nice to meet you
Steve: I have seen you around and glad to meet another Steve! Just have to put the last names up from now on...ha ha... thanks for the comments
hhski, I no the feeling from the "best and worst" she can be a royal pain, but I love every bit of her. Completely different from my son, but yes she is completely gorgeous. Thanks so much for the comments. I will put a picture of her up here for all that missed the first one.
Thanks Peter, I think it did turn out pretty clear considering I was feeding her and working with one hand. She has a unique tone being that I am mixed and her mother is the same. Precious she is.
Nice entry Steven. You have a lovely daughter... congrats I can relate to everything you said about your daughter as I just had my first-born (girl) 7 weeks ago as well.
Runner, congrats on your on your first little rotten sweetie pie! Looks like we have a "Daddy's little girl club going on" I think its at least 3 of us within the past month or so?
Clee, thanks so much for the comment and nice to meet you.
As you will know... enjoy them whilst they are really young because when they get bigger..kids can be a handful, messy, answer back... and the rest...but wouldn't change them for the world..
