People come from all over the world to see it. The buildings are life sized (it's actually a little city within a city) and this is part of the architecture.
If you ever get to the Arkansas Ozarks (I'm only 40 miles from Branson, too,) let me know and I'll take you on a tour. It's about to get REALLY beautiful here when the leaves start changing.
It's been a long time since you were there, so it's time for another trip! There's a lot more than stores in Eureka Springs, Arkansas like amazing Ozark scenery, several hundred Victorian homes & B&Bs, several historic hotels (like The 1886 Crescent Hotel...one of America's Most Haunted Hotels,) hiking, fishing, motorcycle riding like no where else, fabulous restaurants, the Turpentine Creek Animal Refuge, a huge art community, and that's just off the top of my head.
Check out those links in my post to Karen.....and no, I don't work for the ES Chamber of Commerce.
Yes, it has been a long time. And it was a quick 1 day trip over and back from Checotah, Oklahoma area. It would be nice to go back and take some time looking around. Sounds like a lot to see and a good place to take ones camera. Thanks for the information.
