Thanks Ty. There are more than one way to accomplish this, yet they look different from each other. One is a long exposure, with multiple flashes throughout the exposure. You get an ethereal look to the arms...semi transparent where they don't overlap. This was multiple exposures stacked in PS. I preferred it over the other version.

yes the male equilavent would have 2 arms and 8 flexible apendages, since thats what we think with.
