Since there are quite a few registered users on FM all of which range quite a bit in age, I thought it'd be interesting to see just how old everybody is.
No surprise here, looks like the working class age groups and pros get the best toys.
Now how about starting a poll asking where FMers are located. I think most are concentrated in the East & West coast, like California and New York. I don't see too many from the deep south, or from the rocky mt. area.

That's a good idea, anyone else from the good old UK? BTW I am 61 in November but hoping against hope there is someone older!
I turn 66 in a week and have absolutely no complaint about my advancing age. As has been noted by George Bernard Shaw "Youth is wasted on the young." I'm healthy, remain in good shape physically and have actually learned a few things along the way, which pleases me. When I was younger I was much more driven by hormones than I am now. That meant my hard earned income was more likely to be invested in fast cars and fancy clothes. I spent more money on partying and keeping my liquor cabinet filled. So what does that have to do with shooting photos? I still drive a nice car, one that I can actually afford, but now I can spend my discretionary resources for computer gear, software and my camera kit. I actually can enjoy a walk in the woods with my camera without needing to check out every young lovely sharing the trail. Not that I fail to notice a lovely woman, but "chasing a skirt" is no longer high on my list of priorities. Of course, having a stable relationship helps as well. And that exists because I've finally learned what it takes to keep a relationship healthy. Of course, I'll keep learning, both about life and about photography, hopefully for many more years. Thanks for the poll!
