Thanks Karen, Frank and Patty. This tree (harlequin maple) is my pride and joy and has caught the early morning light and just glowed many a time due to it's two-tone colouring. Sadly though it is reverting back to a regular solid-green leaved maple which I'm told is normal after a number of years.
