Hello ~

This is my first try at POTW. I am aiming to improve both my photographic skills and Photoshop skills. C&C always welcome.

This is what I believe a caterpillar host, who must be sacrificing his body for new life of some sort. It never got to become a butterfly, which is rather sad. The lighting was tough; and the position tougher, but gave it a go. It was on my tomato plant.

Tough shot and evenly lit to boot! Nice shot Carolyn. I love the false eyes down the body. They fooled me, as intended.

Thanks for the time and the comments everyone. I checked on (what remained of) the caterpillar later in the day and it was a mere shell of even what I photographed. Kind of sad. I still don't know what those little eggs have in them though ...
