Great angle. I can agree with this as slow motion. I do about 4 miles three times a week and that hour goes by in slow motion. Good luck.

Nice shot Michelle. Good idea for the theme.

Hey Michelle! Nice take on the theme. I like this shot but I love it's potential even more. It has a creative and artistic approach. You have an eye, no doubt about it!, but don't be afraid to light your scene as you see fit. Bounce the light around using white poster board. Avoid onboard flash if possible. That will keep those heavy shadows out (see them in the background?). I use 100w standard daylight bulbs in desk lamps all the time to light a scene. If it's too harsh or gives me hotspots, I use a lower wattage bulb or I put a piece of printer paper over the hood to diffuse the light. If it lights up areas behind my scene that I don't want, I add a piece of black paper to the backside of the hood to block out the falloff. If you shoot during the day and you are getting unwanted ambient or stray light, block out the windows with a blanket duct tapped to the wall. If the blanket or black cloth shows in your shot, force DOF but you probably won't have to if you used the black paper on the back side of the lamp hood. Remember, You’re the boss!!! The crop feels a little tight on the bottom but other than that it is nicely composed. Way to go! These are just some of the around the house techniques I have used. I hope you don’t mind the CC. I'm no pro, so take it for what it's worth.
