Here's a picture of the FDIC building taken on my walk home from work. We have lots of impressive looking federal buildings here in the Washington DC area, but this one is literally down the street in Arlington, VA. Unfortunately they asked me to stop photographing their building, but not before I got this shot!

C&C welcome.

Beautiful photo. I like the monochromatic feel you've got going on here. I'm glad you got the shot, and glad you didn't get arrested. And I wonder how many people point their camera phones at this place every day and nobody says anything to them.

Beautifully shot. It is surreal in this photo. Very nice. Also, security rules like this are really lame. Anyone really wanting to photograph buildings like this for some evil purpose can do so with no problem. All kinds of very small and clandstine camers one could use. But most rules since 9/11 are for show and not worth anything in reality. Politicians really think we citizens are stupid, or naive. Thanks for the shot.
