Thanks for the comments everyone.

The lighting on my head, back, and shoulders was done with a DIY snoot on a 430EX set on manual at 1/16 power. The light on my face and arm came from the computer monitor.

For the image on the monitor, I chose a light toned B&W image and set my exposure long enough that it overexposed and lost most of the detail but kept the form. I was hoping it would be just enough to still be allowed on the forum.
