p.2 #1 · Kit Fox (parting shots)

To everyone here,

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop and take a look. It is always a pleasure to be able to put your work in front others and it's even better when it is so well received. As I said in an earlier post. The evening this shoot took place was truely magical. Everything came together and it was like "shooting fish in a barrel" for the lack of a better phrase. All I had to do was push the button. This ranks right up there in the top three enjoyable shoots in the last twenty years for me. ( I've shot video for twenty years... this slr stuff is still a hobby for me. )

So again... Thank you.

Jason.

you choose perfect part of the day to shoot those photos... warm lighting gives that extra something to the series... love the bokeh also...

Another nice series, Jason. I really like the #3 & 4 shots with an OOF fox in the BG and good balanced composition. Lighting is wonderful too.

Yes, out on the West Desert area west of Salt Lake City. About a 2 &1/2 hour drive on gravel and dirt.

Here is a snapshot of the area I took as I headed back to the car that evening.

Thanks cbright. These little guys were so tolerant I was able to move around in the open a bit which allowed me to choose the the angle of light and the background.

Jason,

I didn't comment on any of your previous posts (didn't have time to wait in line behind everyone else!) but all of these have been very, very nice. The lighting and gradual shifting of the colors from blue to red and yellow, along with the clarity of the subjects made all of these a real treat to view. Excellent job.
