I've just bought a 5D so I'm re-arranging things ...
I'm adding my 17-40L to the "for sale list" - I'm finding that my 24-105 is sufficiently wide with the 5D. The 17-40 is in excellent condition (UR date code) and comes with all the standard accessories including the box. My asking price is CDN$699 + shipping from Ottawa.
In sthi simage I've circled the one mark I can readily find ... a small surface scratch. Other than that the lens is cosmetically excellent - optically as well!
Sold pending payment: Canon 20D with about 17,000 actuations; excellent condition with all supplied accessories including box. Also included is a Katz-eye split prism focusing screen that allows for manual focusing on lenses with an aperture f4 and faster - worth $100+. Great for macro work. Please note that the original focusing screen has disappeared.
Sold: Tokina 12-24
Personal sale so I don't collect taxes !
I'm in Ottawa. Local pickup encouraged.
I've bought and sold here on FM as well as on ebay (toby_the_vizsla).

Thanks - good to know - in this case it would be a waste of 14$ as the LCDs are in excellent condition - I just want to fully disclose the condition. The camera is in excellent rather than mint condition!
To be frank you'll do better buying the 17-40L from a US seller ... my asking price is about US$650 - price in the US for used versions are around the $550 range.
My 20D price, because of the Katzeye focus screen is likely more competitive with US sellers.
Without going into the gory details us Canadians pay a premium for bringing stuff into the country (taxes, dollar difference which is thankfully getting less and higher international shipping ). My only request is that folks don't start piling with the inevitable discussion of customs / duties / brokerage / why one shouldn't use UPS Ground ... blah bah .....
