If you have not done so yet, please take a few seconds to review the Monthly assignment (MA) rules. Any member that registers and votes more than once will be disqualified from future participation and banned from the forum.

Since a few images are links to other servers, they may be down and unavailable from time to time. This is out of my control because I can only keep an eye on images uploaded to the FM Gallery host or via Image Upload service.

You have the opportunity to choose the winner for MA 41: Patterns in nature. Although all of the entries showed good potential and the choice was very hard to make, I took several factor into consideration, including image quality, subject matter, relevance to the assignment, and creativity just to name a few.

First, second and third winners will be posted at the forum portal.

It would be nice to see all of the finalists on one screen at once. Would it be possible to do that, Fred? i.e. put all 5-10 thumbnails at the top of the finalists page?

Maybe even put the voting radio-buttons right next to each thumbnail! :-)

As it is now my fingers get sore scrolling up & down the whole page.

i hate being a kill joy in a contest, but 'baby trees' isn't nature. its a natural pattern repeated by man

its a great shot, i just think its not quite appropriate

where did you infer from the title that it had to be "natural" , this is why voting is the best as we each have opinions be they right or wrong
