very nice and very abstract. it took me a minute to realize what it was. we had an assignment in a drawing class that involved looking up close and nature to the point of not being able to really recognize the original object. this reminds me a lot of that. i thought it was a bit blurry at first but then i realized it was just my contacts. very nice work though.

Nice close up Peter. The lighting is really nice and emphasizes the texture in the petals.

This is a beautiful shot and a potential finalist. It fits the assignment perfectly, is a simple pattern and a great shot.
For a long time now I have followed this forum and participated a few times. Never have I seen so many absolutely wonderful photos at the same time. This is going to be difficult for Fred.

Maybe it's just me but this seems ever so soft.... ?

I threw a little USM at it and it seemed to help. This is one of *my* myriad, perennial, problems: getting truly sharp focus with digital. :-\
