It is pretty obvious that these two love each other very much. Jane and I are very fortunate to have our children and grandchildren home for Mother's Day. Here, "Mema" and Cameron share one of the many laughs that they have shared over the last few days. I was lucky enough to have my camera ready to capture this one. Comments always welcomed.
Robert
Fantastic shot, Robert! So full of life and love! I love the way Jane and Cameron are backlit. Bravo, as always!
I won't be posting a photo this week as the computer is in the shop this week. It would have gone last week but the evacuation kinda put a crimp in my plans. It may be out for as long as 10 days.
I can look at photos and post comments on this other computer but processing any photos wouldn't work well/ Oh well/// i couldn't beat this shot anyhow.
I can just hear her little raspy voice saying, "That's a good one, Mema", as she giggles. That's what she says when I make funny faces for her. What a doll, and Robert has used his love to create this wonderful photo. Thank you my wonderful man, it brings tears to my eyes.
Mema
MEMA? Are you kidding me? When I first saw this one (not realizing that it was Robert's) I thought it was a mother and child. NO WAY do you look old enough to be a 'Mema'!
I'd give anything to have a shot like this one of me and my grand daughter when she was that age.
This image is perfect on so many levels. A beautiful capture, Robert.
(A beautiful wife, and grandchild, too.)
Robert,
What an absolutely beautiful shot! You have captured the emotional feeling of love and happiness at its best! Your choice of using B&W allows the focus to be on your beautiful subjects, and technically I feel you have scored a 10.
Did I tell you I like the shot?
Great entry!
Tom
Robert you’ve created a perfect photograph that belongs in the covers of ‘Mother’ magazine! The emotions and timing are priceless. Congratulations to you and you models!

Endre,
I hope that you get that computer fixed soon. I'll miss seeing your entry this week. Thank you for your comments.

John, my friend, thank you for your sincere comments and for the glowing endorsement. Jane and Cameron thank you, as well.
That's just lovely! To be really picky, some of the highlights are
a bit burned out, but otherwise great lighting, composition, and, most
of all, subjects. A wonderful "found" portrait. I wish all of you many
more happy times like this to come!
You are right about the bright spots, but since this was a spontaneous and candid shot, I had to take what I could get. I would never have gotten this with a planned and posed shot in the studio.
