Yes......Much greater impact...!! fills the page and is now more of a design that a picture of a cat !! Good job !! IMHO, it is one of the finalist now !!

Oh, you noticed?? Taken in cloudy weather , not enough detail...but I broke my camera on the trip :-( and knew it would take a while before I got another shot..Guess I will wait for next month's assignment...Thanks for asking...and good luck with this one !! the composition is "spot on" !

anything with cats, I love. This one I do like however (and not seeing the original) I feel this one is a bit to much DOF being close and it looses some clarity or a bit noisy. The framing is cool. I just love cats and would prefer it to not be so close unless you were trying to focus on the patterns in the eye?
