Well, my first entry wasn't well received by even my wife. Nobody seemed to get the Pablo Picasso style. I even had versions I liked better with the eyes even more out of alignment than the one I posted. So, I felt I posted second best...mainly because of the deadline. Then Fred in his infinite kindness...extended the deadline. Thank you Fred!. Thus, here is the one I really wanted to do, but didn't think I had the time.

Hey, that's great. And I think a fitting interpretation of the abstract self portrait theme..

Thank you Albert and ruuskan! I may tweak it before the day is over...so, I don't think it is quite "perfect". However, that is the nicest thing anyone has ever said about any of my photos. Hopefully, a few others will like it as well.

Alex, thanks for the "interesting" abstract commment.One definition of abstract is "not representing or imitating external reality or the objects of nature" (Princeton). Obviously, this is the definition I choose to use. It fits with the other more common definitions as well. "Existing only in the mind", or to "outline", and be "sketchy". I'm aware that most would attempt to paint themselves in a more flattering light, but my self esteem being abysmally low prevents my doing that.
