Shot on 400 speed print film in my Zorki 6 with an Industar 50/3.5

1/250 at F5.6

My 20D went dead on me (just the batteries) and I took my Former Soviet Union Zorki 6 with me on my trip. I just got back in town today before they started to cancel all the flights. Quick turn aroundonthe film and here it is.

It is really coming down! I had to go in my Jeep to pick up my wife at work; there are cars just abandoned on side streets! Dogs living with cats, lions with lambs; its the end of the world.

And its a lot of fun to drive around in the snow with my Jeep.

Aaaaaarrrrgh... that looks really cold... flight-cancelling cold indeed. Love the planes w/art & white-out blizzard..and the subtle colors. Nice!!

Thanks Beverly! I always like shooting withteh Zorki since it doesn't have a meter in it, so I have to Guestimate the expsoure. The ultimate matrix metering! Got pretty close, but I did bracket a bit since it was hard to figure the exposure b/c of the snow.

Thanks Tom, I guess it wasn't good enough to get picked!

The interesting thing to me is that I shot it on film and had it processed, digitized and posted all within six hours. I have a hard time travellingwith my 20D, but a RF fits in my pocket.
