Jim,
Nice series. I really like the third shot, mostly due to my lack of appreciation of contrasting backgrounds. The last is the most traditional 'scape' but probably not the best. Nice variation of interest.

I really like that 2nd image. The trees backed by the rocks make for an incredible explosion of color and contrast!
