You nailed the WA this week, Robert! Bravo! There are Jane's fingernails again,,, A couple of week ago she was vandalizing a Porsche, Can't you get her involved in some kind of wholesome activity? Anyway, great shot!
I always enjoy the lighting in your images. I like the nearly symbolic, diaganol, painted with light look on this one in particular. Very nice work indeed.
As a religious studies major, it always bugs me when people assume the 'fruit' in the garden was an apple -- most people don't even know that the text itself doesn't SAY 'apple.' It could have been a plum! Or a kiwi! I wanna see Eve holding a dang kiwi!
That's just me being silly and ranting, this is still a fantastic shot, both composition- and idea-wise.

Thanks, Endre. I just can't seem to be able to keep the girl out of trouble. Having her hold the forbidden fruit seems rather appropriate.

Thanks, Ed. I am glad that you noticed the lighting, for I worked long and hard trying to get it right. I wanted it to appear as if it were coming from above, along the angle of her arm, while still leaving some shadow on the apple. I appreciate your comments; it is always good to hear from you, my friend.

You are absolutely right; there is no mention of an apple in the scripture, but pomegranates aren't in season, and I didn't have any kiwi in the fridge.

In an artistic vein, however, you've made beautiful use of light, color, and composition. I like it!
