Lovely shot of a lovely station. Dan. I wish we had something interesting like that around here. I'm getting rather frustrated trying to think of something to shoot. Love the colors and the perfect position of that little wisp of cloud in the background. Bravo!

Endre, given where you live there should be no shortage of gas station. lol But like most things in LA It is going to be surrounded by concrete, a lot of cars, and a thick layer of smog. By the way can you tell I am a Nor Cal purist.

I don't see any pumps, so I'm assuming that this is no an operating gas station. Was it converted to something else or is it a nostalgic thing. I don't know where all of you are finding these great relics.

You know some day I will get the shot that I envision.
I tried an under/over exposure hoping to combine the two with FM software.
Well it did not work for me, so not to happy with the result.
I also see a bit of halo, after making sure to avoid it.
However, I do find motivation from my mediocrity.

Yeah, free time has been tough to find.
I'm dealing with moving my parents out of their home of 50+ years, etc.
But I am following your lead, and ten days from now I'm heading out for canoeing, fishing, biking, hiking, telescoping and whatever other fun I can fit in.
