I'm sorry, I know shots of farm animals aren't usually well received here but I can't help myself. I've been lambing for the last couple of weeks and decided to get a few shots of the morning antics yesterday and today. Every morning and evening a few of them get together and run back a forth across the field over and over until they're worn out. It's so fun to watch the lambie races.

Excellent shots Denise. Only thing that would make them better is having a Border Collie in them!

My word these guys couldn't be any cuter. Great shots!!

Yes there really isn't a good place here to put up domestic animals which is mainly what I do too so I rarely post...

Thanks. I'm glad you liked them. It's hard for me not to be cheered up by the lambs no matter my mood.

This was taken years ago with a CP5700. It was the first year I used Kate for lambing and boy was she surprised when an unafraid newborn walked right up and touched her on the nose. She just stood there frozen as it approached and her eyes crossed more and more the closer it got. I always thought it was a funny shot, tho certainly not up to the standards here.

Thank you Dee Dee. I agree, it would be nice to have a place to put this type of shot. Some of them can be really good.
