I took this shot today. Sometimes it is hard getting in postion when these guys are coming in for landings.

I used "Save for Web" so my EFIX data was lost, but I will tell you what it would tell you.

Shot with my Rebel XT, ISO 100, 70-200mm 2.8L lens, 2.8 aperature, 1/4000s shutter speed. Flash was not used

Bet that was fun just to see, nice shot. It definitely looks like it was just hanging there but given your shutter speed I am sure it was clipping along pretty well..

It is a bummer that the tree line is right there as it is kind of hard to tell where the plane stops and the trees start.

I agree, very cool shot. I saved your picture and ran it the shadow/highlight adjustments in CS2. It brought out the bottom of the plane very nice. You should try it.
