This is one shot from tonites WBC Continental Americas Heavyweight TItle match. Shot not as sharp as I would like..but lighting was rough in the arena...
Wow Bob - Great IMPACT on those shots. You did very good -- I'm sure the light was a real trick to work with - you did a great job and caught the action perfectly.

I've only ever shot boxing once and it was with a getty photographer. His tip to me which I'll pass to the masses is keep your point of focus on the boxer whose face is in your line of sight, IE the second pic you should be focusing on the guy eating leather.
What settings looks like a fair amount of "grain" in the back of chocolate,
Easier said than done!!! Shooting at ISO 800 and still only able to get a shutter speed of 250 @ 2.8...any higher ISO and the shots are worthless!!! Too noisy.. Thanks...
