Great idea. Love the composition. You have lighted the elaborate setup just right. Looking at the photo one can imagine a future where one would Google a search and step into the link to check it out. Also a happy new year to you.

Hello Robert, thanks.
I was originally going to do a kid’s hand coming out of the screen to grab another’s kid hand on the keyboard, but couldn’t figure out a way to do it without breaking the tube on a monitor. On a quick emergency trip to Walmart, I found this clear plastic fully articulated toy, that allowed me to create the proper ‘escaping’ position, a drop of crazy glue on the bottom of her foot, a piece of clear nylon thread from a pantyhose around her neck and voila, magic from the future at home…
Here it is, high tech set from the present...

Great shot. Its a very imaginative image. The lighting is wonderful.

I think there are probably quite a few men who would like a cyber woman or Lara Croft to jump out of a computer screen!

I showed the picture to several people yesterday, children and adults; it was very rewarding to see how it immediately stimulated everybody’s imagination, without exception!
You are right about Lara Croft but the first name out of my wife’s mouth was Antonio Banderas…

John, your usual wonderful stuff here. In this world of "virtuosity"--you have to wonder for sure what is in store for us from these crazy computers and world of information. My favorite to come bounding from the computer would be my "Honey"--no question at all in my mind about that!! Happy New Year and I hope 2006 keeps you fully involved in these WA's. But just for a week or two, could you let us compete on occasion?? My best to you and your wife.
