p.1 #1 · I got my first DSLR, new!

Hi everyone! Today I got my Nikon D50!! with kit lens. After 2 weeks of research and going crazy I finally got it. I would just like to say that everything everyone says about the camera and the lens etc etc are all so minor when you actually have it. If you are new you dont even notice any of the negatives people say in the reviews. Anyway I LOVE the camera and the lens! Im going crazy though being careful with it.. I just cleaned the screen cause your nose has to touch it alot lol

any tips?! THanks!

... negatives? ...reviews? I've read that it makes great images! I've handled one and it felt like a serious Nikon Camera compared to the competition.

I've also heard it helps if ya put a big ole piece of duct tape on your nose

Get some of those plastic covers that are made for the PDA screens. Cut to size and place on the LCD of your new camera. I also put a piece on the top display of my D2H as well as the lower back display. When they get scratched, replace with a new piece.

It would be interesting that you post some pics, until now we didn't see many pictures taken with a D50 on this forum...
