Not sure if this is a repost, but it's good to getaway from the D200 etc....
I started off with a Nikkormat EL, was the best camera, ahh the memories.
Then the F2, with the MD-4 damn that was heavy, F3, F4s, F100 and now D100 (d100 will my backup body to the D2X or D200)!!

No nostalgia for my old Nikon film bodies here! I had to give away my last Nikon film body.......... nobody wanted it. Wonder why.

Same here! I started with a Nikkormat EL and an ELW. My Nikkormat EL had several mechanical problems, though it was a nice body ~30 years ago. The AW-1 was a real POS though, with a hopeless nylon gear that always broke. I was happy to replace it with the FE2/MD-12 some years later.
Nikon F with the photomatic finder and 50 1.4 purchased new. Still have it and occasionally run a roll through it. Built like a tank, it survived a 100ft fall while rock climbing with just a small dent to the finder and a replacement of the filter ring on the 50mm.
