Wonderful photos Eric....hope you get through the upcoming storm ok!
Eric
Thanks Eric, we made it ok. The main thing that sucked rocks is that we are in the middle of a full home re-pipe (cast iron drains and copper feeds shot) as the storm hit. Plumbers couldn't work for obvious reasons, but we are not in a flood zone so mostly OK. They are back to work finally today. Maybe we'll be able to flush again soon? The camping toilet is getting old! (No, seriously, kill me now... ugh)

Thanks Birdie, See above reply (well, squint and read it with one eye open, it's not for the faint of heart. )

I have given thought to that lens Eric, you make good points with it
Hard to beat the colors and texture of the Passion flower but the Lotus has its own attraction. Great color in the BOP that is on its way out. Nice shots
Karl
Thanks mucho for the commentary Karl! I think you would do well with that lens and have all kinds of fun with it. The cool thing is that it's not a one hit wonder. Yes, it's silly sharp wide open with buttery bokeh, but it also is silly sharp stopped down corner to corner and would be great for all kinds of applications. (In case you are wondering, I'm the angel on your right shoulder, pulling the tail on the devil on your left shoulder whispering in your ear, "no really, you should get one", )
