Best way to carry a hefty camera/lens plus binoculars?

Birding / photog and would love a good way to carry both my Canon R5MII + 100-500mm lens and binocs.

Currently I use a sling for the camera and pouch for the bins but the camera bounces off my hip when I walk and sometimes changes settings if I don't shut it off all the time.
Thinking about a harness that holds the camera on my chest but not sure when the binocs would go.
Anyone have a good solution or is there a product out to optimize this? Thanks!

look at Marsupailgear for instance - only thing I can think about is a side pouch ( belt clip type) for the binnos. You binnoi case - assuming it did come ith one - might have a belt loop aldeady
Some tactical pouches ( for ammo) have adustable belt straps too.

Thanks for the idea but can't spot marsupialgear?
Would think this is a common enough use case someone would make something specifically for it...

Perhaps one of these Cotton Carriers: https://www.cottoncarrier.com/collections/g3-harnesses

Don't know if the 100-500 may be too long, though.

I've been looking for the perfect dual carry as well. So far, the best for me has been a BlackRapid sling and the bins on a regular neckstrap. I wear both long enough that I generally avoid entanglement and interference with the two. Keyword: generally. It isn't perfect. The bounce is real, so I tend to have a hand on the camera. I also use a Mountainsmith Tour lumbar pack to carry water, bug spray, first aid, etc, when I do a bird walk.

Mixing the BlackRapid with a backpack has been a no-go.

I've tried straps attached to the backpack shoulder straps too; it pulls too much for my liking.

My wife prefers her bins on a chest harness so tends to carry her camera on a strap straight on a shoulder (vs crossbody like I do). But, she's more birder and I'm more photographer. She has also tried the cotton carrier and the weight of the camera + 100-400 pulls too much on her shoulders. Hopefully that works for you (we are all different).

I just bought this molle/QD strap to hang on the belt of my Atlas Athlete pack and I'm trying it out. It takes the weight off my shoulders but so far is slower to use. Pros and cons... https://atlaspacks.com/collections/atlas-packs-x-qd-hip-belt-collab-x-leofoto. As it happens, I can fit the Atlas belt through the Mountainsmith tour, but I can't remove the Mountainsmith belt (sewn on) so that will be odd unless I perform surgery on the tour (not willing, yet). The ideas keep floating around.

I have multiple binoculars but when carrying a camera and lens I grab my Swarvo 10x25 ones that weigh only 12 ounces. No issues with hanging them off my neck for hours and I put on a strap that puts them at breast height. Strap is barely long enough to fit over my head but minimizes bino sway when hiking.

Take a look at Cotton Carrier and their carry options. I have the G3 Harness and love it!

I had the same dilemma years back… before mirrorless. My gripped 5d3 plus ef 100-400Lii plus 40stm plus tilt swivel speedlite plus batteries, caps, cleaning cloths etc etc
The loft is full of what promised to be the answer, none were!!
I then stumbled on the old Domke bag designed specifically to hold the 300/2.8 whilst attached to a pro body. My copy was used…well used. I took it to work and had stainless steel rings attached and welded up, then bought a bigger longer strap.
5yrs later it’s still the best bag for that combo. I did find another used identical bag in mint unused condition so bought it. But still use the old one, it’s faded and worn and attracts zero looks from passers-by… utterly perfect. What’s better is when I’m using the camera I use the bag to kneel down on, once the mud has dried I simply brush off using a stiff brush. As I say for my needs and wants this Domke could not be improved upon… it’s perfect.

As for the bins, I used to have a pair of trinovids ( Leica) hated them swinging around my neck, bought the official belt holster… wow too easy. Maybe contact a seller offering leather custom bits on eBay (loads of them) and ask if they could create something similar for your bins too…you’d probably have to send them so they can achieve a good fit. The one I had was brilliant, surprised no one uses them no more.

Thanks for the thoughts. Just got in the G3 and about to take it for a spin. If it doesn't suit will work from the other ideas posted here...
