I used to carry 16-35mm GM and 24-70mm GM but I am reconsidering my gear for the following reasons:
1. While both lenses offer superb IQ, 2.8 doesnt get me enough light during night.
2. I am planning on upgrading 24-70mm GM I to II.
3. I tend not to use 16-35mm not nearly as much as 35-70mm is more usable than 16-24mm for me.
For the reasons above, I am thinking about selling 16-35mm GM and acquire 35mm GM for night photography. Would this be a silly move? With 16-35mm gone, I would lose 16-24mm range but I am unsure if I will miss it.
I would love to hear from folks who've gone through a similar experience.
