I'm curious, is there a reliable charger for the R3 sized batteries that is NOT the huge brick dual charger? I know the batteries can be charged in camera via USBc, but it would be nice to have a wall charger for a couple of reasons and I'd prefer not to fill my camera bag up with the huge factory one.

Not that I know of specifically for the LP-E19. This is something I had hoped for as well - an alternative to the huge Canon charger. Even if it was only a single slot.

I think all of the third party chargers are from the LP-E4 era and the only reason the LP-E19 works with those is that the battery is inserted into the charger via the end with the terminals, rather than slotting onto the charger via the base like the Canon charger. The design of the battery's base was changed between the LP-E4 and LP-E19 so that the 19 couldn't be used on the old charger, which is incompatible). It's possible the 19 on one of those chargers won't be charged to full capacity (something I recall reading somewhere), but is something that should be confirmed with more research.

I got this, it's compact and is powered by USB-C PD.

And it fully charges the LP-E19? Of the off brands, I would rank Nitecore higher and have one of their USB-powered battery chargers for another brand. With that one, often the batteries are only charged to 80% and I have to top them off in the OEM charger if I want 100%. But it's a great solution for use in the field.

Hmm...that one is out of stock. But I'll keep an eye on it. One thing I haven't tried is powering the camera in use with a USBc PD power bank. Does that work to reduce battery drain, or charge the battery while in use?

I haven't tried the R3, but one can power the R6/6II (and presumably R5/5II) this way. According to Camnostics it requires a PD power bank of at least 30W for the R5. I have only ever tried it to confirm it works with my cameras, which it does. And I have yet to need it in the field (with the R6/6II), so can't verify whether it powers and also charges the internal battery, but the Camnostics R5 article says it does with that camera. I'm guessing @stanj will know, or be able to confirm for the R3.
