Thanks Dan & hlansing. The garden didn't do as well this year, because of too much rain. Last years tomatillo were 6 feet tall, and loaded with fruit - even the tomatoes were fewer. I love the cayenne this year.

I just responded to a PM from another person who noticed this. This has been happening for many months. I wrote Fred about it, and he said it wasn't on his end. I checked with my ISP, and they hadn't changed anything either. I gave up participating, and this was a test to see if things had somehow sorted themselves out. It looks like they haven't. I guess I could try hosting the photo on my flickr account instead of my own domain that I used trouble free since 2007 - we'll see. For me, participating is more than half the fun - just having someone else come up with the topic is good. People can still see what I did - there's that.

Larry Beemer is having the EXACT same problem Jim! Well NOT exactly......Larry cant submit an entry at all!

I worked with Larry on this by posting his "test" image and it posted fine. But Larry's wouldn't even post as an entry! Your entry is there!!!

Dan. I appreciate your sentiment. Usually when an image doesn't post for an assignment - it isn't sized right. Occasionally Photoshop spits out an 801 pixel resize - instead of a 800 pixel. This has been going on for me since February 2023. I see Larry won just a few weeks ago (Congrats Larry). Maybe having a space in my name is causing this problem - though Fred assured me it wasn't an issue when I changed names many years ago. His entry showed up fine in WA 1135, but the script Fred must use to harvest entries, and produce thumbnails didn't work on that one. I think my problem is something else.

Understand Jim!
I always check the pixel size before I post an entry. Yes Ps can add a "1" to that long side dimension but if so I go to "Custom" and correct it. Seems to work. Not saying this is your problem just sorta stabbing at a solution!

But then again..if the size wasn't correct when you/I posted the initial entry(801 px), we would have received an error message stating the 800pixel size must be met.

Not making sense but then at 77 not much does!

Hey guys - calm down. Fred provides this sandbox to us to play in for free. I tried having a forum on my own domain and quickly realized it was going to be a full time job trying to stop all the hackers, and keep the fun killers at bay. I just wanted to make images, not baby sit a web site. For the most part this site is great, and has evolved to keep up with a changing web landscape.

Flickr is a no go. Every time with multiple images it reduces the image to 799 pixels instead of 800?

Oh I agree Jim! It is upsetting but I am not blaming anyone because I dont know what is happening!

Fred has provided us with a fantastic place to post our images and enter into great photographic conversations.

Oh boy do I know what Fred has to deal with on a day-to-day business with all the cyber crap happening everywhere! Kudos to Fred for dealing with it!
I had my ID stolen in 2019 and it has NOT been pleasant at all even 5 years later!! Fallout still evident!!!

But it is frustrating to those members that have to deal with "problems".
