Anyone here using peak design sling for body + super tele combo ? My heaviest option is r52+2x+400mm f.2.8(RF). While I like the canon shoulder strap, the ability to quickly adjust strap length is appealing.

I own it as well and while it's great for lighter gear and many love it for heavier gear, I find the rubber grip needs more padding. I'm a big fan of the Peak Design connector system and have adapted it to other brand straps.

I’m a little confused about your use of the term “sling” here. PD has a product called “Sling” which is a bag, not a strap. Are you asking about this shoulder bag or something else?

I have both the sling (which is a bag) and the strap. There's no way you're getting an RF400 in the sling the largest lens I have that fits is the 100-500 which the hood reversed and maybe one other lens. For the strap I use it on the body for small lenses and on the lens for the larger super tele's.
I'm debating finding a way to have the peak design clip capture the tele lens foot with some odd combo but haven't done that and might just use a standard arca-swiss instead.

I own Peak's largest Sling—10L—and I can fit my R6 MK II with EF 100-400 4.5-5.6L IS USM II with hood (reversed) inside if placed lengthwise and inserts are removed. I'm sure the RF 100-500L will fit but not anything larger and certainly not the RF 400 2.8L.
