Well, I can’t tell you how I would miss the photos of my dear recently departed mother of 99 1/2 years old and our family in England, all of whom I adore. I’m 78 1/2 years old and I’ve been doing photography since I was about 12 years old and have digitized all to preserve them. And I’m amazed at how many photos I’ve managed to preserve over the years that are precious to me of family, friends, events and my lovely animals that I’ve had the pleasure of owning through my life. It’s a stroll down memory lane for me. I’m sad that it isn’t for others and that they have no attachment to those things that can be destroyed by the crazy world we live in. To each his own, I guess 😔
Yes, basic survival would be a very sad challenge for many in the event of an EMP event of any kind. Maybe I’m foolish for wanting to cling to these things at my age, but that’s just the way I’m built. Always greatful, always hopeful……. Always looking to prevail. I think it’s called survival instinct, isn’t it?
