AL - dig the shot. Might consider dropping the bottom 50% - there's something magical and engaging about the superb backlighting (the beak!!! ) against the darker background. My two cents!
Beautiful shot. I assume you kept the bottom for the bird's shadow (which I get and like too) but I'm with Jeff on cropping it off to focus on the superb backlighting, the brightness pulls my eye down too much.
Great catch, beautiful light. I agree about cropping the bottom. It's just so bright that it pulls attention away from that gorgeous bird.
