I have owned and used a lot of cameras in formats from subminiature to 5X7. I have no idea of how much money has been spent over the years and actually, don't want to know. Cameras have been sold, traded or simply given away and I learned something from each of them. Over the last few years, I have been gradually reducing the amount of gear and being selective about what stays. I have a Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1 which was upgraded by Retrospekt that I use about once a year just to hear the familiar whirr and thunk. A couple of Kodak Retinas, a I a and a II a because they're little gems that fit in a pocket and have really good lenses. A Sony A7CII that like it's predecessor has found a home on the copy stand and is dedicated to scanning negative. There's a M4 that has been paired with a brass body 50 Summicon V5 and the M4-2 with a little bag that has a Zeiss 28 Biogon, a 35 Nokton Classic and a 50 2.5 Color Skopar LTM that I can't seem to part with. I also have a 50 2.0 Collapsible Heliar that's kind of odd and kind of rare but it does get used on occasion. And a Reto Wide and Slim that was a gift. If it breaks, I'll buy another because it's fun. After many years, I know what works for me. The guy in the video just figured it out a lot sooner.
